Keep’n it cool

I was having coolant temps of 230 plus in this south Texas heat. Installled this with a mishimoto radiator and now my coolant temps are 180 sometimes lower on long drives and a bit higher on city drives but they don’t hit 190.
Having had it thru winter yet.

Wow.

This cooling modification is insane. Alot of people suggest that this is overkill but I couldn't disagree more. I drive my FiST pretty hard and for my style of driving, it's what I needed. My water temp stayed around 190 degrees with my J-Line installed. When I installed this (in conjunction with the Koyorad and Mishimoto coolant hoses), my water temp is 170 degrees average. My max is now 190 degrees and I see anywhere from 155 degrees to 170 degrees as my range, depending on ambient temp and my driving at the moment. For individuals that maintain and modify their FiSTs to handle the abuse like I subject my FiST on a daily basis, this is a must considering that heatsoak is a weakness for our rides. Two thumbs up.
