I changed over from a different aftermarket FMIC and have seen on average 5 degree cooler air temps than the previous.
This FMIC will hold a close to Ambient air temp charge from 90-150 degrees oil temps and from there begin to rise to 5-10 degrees over ambient when cruising but when you give it the beans you can see the temps begin to drop 2-3 degrees on average I'd say this intercooler does a great job at keeping your charge air temps very close to Ambient pre-heat soak post heat soaking wether it be bumper to bumper traffic, hot days (90 degree plus) or both you can expect to see temps be 15-20 over ambient but once you start cruising again it does a good job of reversing it's heat soaked status and getting back to that 5-10 over ambient difference.
My ST is my weekend car but I love cruising so I put an average of 100-200 miles a weekend on it and in Houston it's HOT and HUMID, I've been very impressed with this intercoolers performance.
It is quite large BUT fits in the stock housing just fine, great product.

I am running a cobb tune on my vehicle and I purchased this intercooler to reach stage 2. The product arrived promptly and was very well packed. Instructions are not included but the install was not too hard even for a person like me without formal mechanical training. You can find some "okay" videos on youtube to help you. The videos I found are not very good at showing things like bracket mounting positions, so pay close attention as you mount the intercooler brackets that the spacing looks correct under the crash bar.
After a week of hard driving in hot FL temps, I can report the product performs very well and my car is running incredibly well.
Got the black coated variant and it looks amazing. Install was extremely straightforward, just had to remove the lower front grill cover to trim it, then replace it back. Looks OEM now!
Performance is fantastic, with charge air temps dropping significantly. Can't wait to pair my big turbo with this intercooler.
