The cap itself is great. Machining is spot on and the finish on it is nice for where it's going to be. Does what it's supposed to do well and my car is running better because of it (I had a boost leak).
Installation, however, sucked. Getting to the hose clamps was probably one of the most tedious jobs I've done on the car. Other guys had a better time with the wire type hose clamps. I wasn't so lucky. If you're like me and you already had a hole in the hose, you can try to cut it out, but that proved to be difficult for me. I ended up getting some hose clamp pliers on the bottom clamp while wrenching it ever so slowly off the charge pipe tube. You'll have to disconnect the top hose and pull it out of it's perch first to get some leverage. Wrenching it out caused more damage to the dried out hose, so have a spare hose in similar size ready from your local auto parts store if you destroy yours. Save those hose clamps! You're going to need the bottom one again. Other than that, have a friend with you to curse at Ford engineers for putting a stupid evap line right in front of where you need to work. It'll be worth it.
