The cp-e® High Flow Cat Downpipe for the Elantra N is a complete bolt-on, turnkey solution for more power out of the stock turbocharger.

The OEM design of the Elantra N dowpipe is a huge restriction in the exhaust system. Originally produced here for SXTH Element across town, we worked with SXTH Element across town to replace the stock unit with a turbine matched cast bellmouth and full 3-inch diameter tubing all the way to the factory cat-back system. Our unit is full 304 stainless steel construction with the finest TIG welds and components. It was designed from the ground up to be the strongest and longest lasting downpipe available for the Elantra N. These are designed and manufactured to be significantly stronger than a flange and tube combination held together with a weld. The design was immensely cared for to create a specifically fit connection for the Elantra N.

Tuning is not required to install this downpipe. We also take the necessary design steps to keep the check engine light from coming on.

Elantra N Downpipe Design

Our Elantra N Downpipe is designed and built to withstand the most rigorous conditions. To help with heat management, the OEM heat shield can be reused and our Downpipe arrives to you with our proprietary Titan™ finish.

We utilize OEM-style stainless steel exhaust hangers to ensure a strong hold in the rubber isolators. A large Euro-style flex section is fabricated in place for a better-than-OEM quality installation.

We start by 3D scanning the OEM downpipe (shown here in transparent blue) and design our new pipe using the latest in 3D CAD software. We can overlay our new design with OEM to make sure you have a perfect fit.

Our main design point of this downpipe is our cast 304 stainless steel bellmouth. Using our 3D scanning and computer modeling, we can match the turbine geometry while maximizing flow into the tubing. This also allows us to make tight bend geometry while maintaining a nice and thick-walled part that can withstand the abuse of racing both on the track and auto-cross. This is far-superior to pie-cut welded tubing in every way! We can also easily retain the mounting
points for factory heat shielding. These are designed and manufactured to be significantly stronger than a flange and tube combination held together with a weld. The design was immensely cared for to create a specifically fit connection for the Hyundai N Theta II.

All of our catalytic converter exhaust components that replace an OEM catalytic converter are built with High Flow, 200 Cell, Catalytic Converters or the highly effective EcoF™ Cat. Our catalytic converter is brazed to the sidewall of the outer shell to allow full airflow, instead of the stuffed and rolled technique that reduces durability and longevity. It is then stamped on the endcaps to add strength and promote exhaust gas flow.
