I was replacing the OEM part due to the coating on the plastic flaking off. This option was the cheapest metal reverse lockout I could find. The quality was as expected and install went smooth except for the installation with the shifter boot. It just seemed like the stock clip that compresses the boot was a little too long. I don't know if the space in the reverse lockout was a little small or I installed it wrong.
Overall the product was exactly what I needed and is a great addition to my Focus!
Ordered this to replace the shift boot on my st and replace the plastic stock part shipping was fast and the reverse lock out is quality!! Minty fresh I got it in blue
