Awesome addition to my fiesta since I've never used the rear seats install was simple I do have the trunk bar installed so I had to cut a 36 inch 2x4 and run it length wise along the trunk bar and attached it to the front panel doing it this way you can fully assemble the kit outside of the car this actually makes install easier I did use bigger L brackets for the sides and I also used 1 1/2 drywall screws to secure everything better I screwed through the top side and yes you see the screw heads but it's not real noticeable using black screws I did also install sound deadening in the entire rear up to the front seats I'm completely happy with it outstanding job manufacturing this product
All together it took about 2 hours to remove the rear seats and install this unreasonably functional addition to our cars.
Let's start with the build quality: nowhere near how I thought it would be. Light-years above my skill level. The carpet is smooth, the symmetry is perfect. B.A.D. has this down to an art form. He goes so far as to coat the plywood where it would have shown on the under side. Unbelievable attention to detail.
The packaging it arrived in was also impressively packed. The supplied instructions were super easy to follow and honestly building and installing this took less time than taking those seats out. I struggled with that alot more than I'd like to admit.
I recently took a job as an X-Ray Service engineer which means I now have to haul around tools and parts. At first I thought about buying a second car, but money is a real thing. Thankfully this kit exists and it was immediately placed on my list. I chose the thick 3/4" version due to the weight of everything I'll be hauling at once. I was tired of the folded down seats being smushed by all my tools. That factory false floor is also made of flimsy dreams. This was a most necessary replacement.
Overall this is a 10/10 on quality and ease of install. Just buy it, you wont regret it.
Awesome piece of kit! You do have to get creative with the install especially if you have a rear trac bar but, it is very nice once you get everything all slapped into ya car. Feels like I have a transit van now lmao!
This product fits very well and didn't take long to put together, gave my trunk the extra space it needed!
Kit looks good and fits great. It definitely serves more of a purpose than the back seat setup IMO.
