What is a Refundable Core Deposit?
A refundable core deposit is a temporary fee for our remanufactured turbo upgrades. We use factory turbochargers to build your upgrade and require your old turbocharger(s) in return. You can pay the deposit upfront and get a full refund when you return your old turbocharger(s) within 60 days of receiving your upgrade, or you can send in your turbocharger(s) first to be upgraded to avoid the deposit entirely.

Core Return Guide

If your order includes a core return, please note the following guidelines to ensure a smooth refund process:

1. Return Window:

   Cores must be received within 60 days of receiving your upgraded turbo to qualify for a core deposit refund. Returns sent after 60 days are not be eligible for a refund.

2. Return Shipping and Documentation:

   • Return Label: whoosh motorsports does not provide return labels. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

   • Documentation: Include a copy of your order inside the box, with “CORE RETURN” written in large, bold letters at the top. This step is crucial for linking the core to your order and processing your refund. Missing documentation may result in delays or difficulties in identifying your order.

3. Packaging Guidelines:

   • Secure Packaging: Please package the core securely to prevent any potential damage during transit. We recommend using sufficient padding and a durable box.

   • Shipping Insurance: Consider adding insurance to your shipment, as we cannot take responsibility for any damage that may occur en route. If a core arrives damaged and cannot be reused, we reserve the right to decline the refund.
