The mountune quick-shift for the Fiesta ST (B6 gearbox) is an additional billet piece fitted to the factory shift arm located at the gearbox. Due to the OE construction removing the complete arm assembly was not an option so mountune engineers produced a neatly packaged option that works in conjunction with the OE arm to deliver the desired shifting enhancements. Throw is reduced by 30% allowing quick and more precise gear changes. Engineered to OE tolerances and manufactured from nickel plated aluminum and steel.

Quality piece

Worth the extra 60 or so dollars over other kits. This kit mounts flush by having you remove the existing ball pin from the OEM shifter arm (this is what the included puller tool is for.) This bracket has a ball pin fixed to it that you will place the shifter cable onto.

This kit eliminates all of the slop found in the OEM setup. The result is a much more direct/knotchy shifter feel. There's no more messing about, when you push into a gear it snaps there immediately.

This kit also stiffens up the shifter quite a bit. Due to the 30% reduced travel you need to apply more force to move the shifter into gear. This increased stiffness makes the shifter feel more controlled and less loose.

Great, if not best, short shifter

I've tried multiple short shift plates and this has been my favorite so far. Unlike other shift kits you do need to disassemble your shift arm a little but this I'm the end allows it to sit flush and more like the original shifter position than other plates(which end up raising the angle of the shifter cables most of the time.)

Shifts are as crisp and smooth as ever when combined with my other transmission mods, and the 30 percent reduction is the highest you can get from any kit. Definitely worth the mountune premium.
